St. Charles Lwanga Catholic Parish Ntinda is located in Ntinda a suburb of Kampala in Nakawa division.
The parish celebrated eight years since it was erected parish under the Archdiocese of Kampala. It serves a population of about 2,500 Catholics spread across eight (8) small Christian communities. It is headed by a Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Edward Muwanga and assisted by two (2) curates; Fr. Martin Masiisa & Fr. David Ssempungu
Kalooli Towers
St. Charles Lwanga Ntinda-Parish is a vibrant community with Roman Catholics who congregate every Sunday to pray and several other days to attend meetings which include but are not limited to strategic development, adult catechesis, the Parish council, pre-marriage counselling etc. Having successfully turned the page on building a bigger 1,200 capacity church, from the previous 400 seater, the idea of self-sustenance was conceived. It, however, took the Covid-19 pandemic wake-up call for the parish council to take action.
The Kalooli towers project was launched on the 19th July, 2022. The Executive committee of the parish got a nod of the council to appoint technically competent & incorruptible personnel to kick-start and manage the project. It’s worth noting that the parish had previously purchased two plots of land opposite the Capital Shoppers’ Mall along the Ntinda-Nakawa road; approximately a walking distance of 200 meters from the main entrance of the church.

- It received a nod of approval by The Archbishop of Kampala His Grace Paul Semwogerere
- The building will have five (5) floors including a ground floor,
- It’s estimated to cost about UGX.12b,
- It will take about 15months to complete,
- Financing of the construction will come from financial institutions by way of term loans payable over a period of about 10 years,
- Source of repayment of the loan will be mainly from the rental income from the building and other parish cash in-flows from parishioners
