Legion Of Mary
Overview
The Legion of Mary is a lay Catholic apostolic movement founded on prayer, service, and evangelization. Members commit to spiritual growth, mutual support, and active outreach — visiting the sick, encouraging reception of the sacraments, and sharing the Word of God.
Rather than distributing material gifts, the Legion offers something more enduring: spiritual companionship, pastoral care, and a genuine family of faith in which every member is a brother or sister.
Mission
To know God deeply and lead more souls to Him — drawing Catholics into full, active participation in the life of the Church.
Objectives
- Encourage and support the faithful to receive the sacraments, particularly Baptism, Holy Matrimony, and Holy Communion.
- Strengthen family life and build active witnesses of the Catholic faith within the parish and wider community.
- Provide spiritual care and companionship to those who are sick, homebound, or disconnected from the Church.
